STUDENT ACTIVITIES
The institute participates in a wide variety of activities which are geared towards student and staff development. The list of successes below would highlight some of these activities. These activities range from poetry writing and sports to representations at Government level.
2002 First term winner of the Guardian School Business Awards Ms. Lezli Voisin.
2003 Second term winner of the Guardian School Business Awards – Mr. Denesh Panchoo.
Third term winner of the Guardian School Business Awards – Ms. Hardaye Ramroop.
First term winner of the Guardian School Business Awards – Ms. Rachel – Ann Huggings.
2005 Ms. Tracy Newling received a Merit Prize from the CLICO “Put it in Poetry” Contest.
2008 Ms. Tracy Newling placed 1st in Recorder Solo and Guitar Solo in the Trinidad and Tobago National Music Festival
and Ms. Krystal Borris placed 1st in the Pan Solo.
2008 Our Lady of Fatima High School participated in the Royal Bank Young Leaders Project and did a procession to re-
establish Virtues in schools entitled “Bridging the Gap-Virtues for Life”. This was televised by TV 6.
2010 Mr. Amit Maharaj has been called to train with the under 19 National Cricket Team.
2010 Ms. Shamika Allsop is on the under 16 Trinidad and Tobago National Netball Team.
2010 Ms. Tracy Newling came 2nd in Recorder Solo and 3rd in Guitar Solo at the Trinidad and Tobago National Music
Festival.
2010 Mr. Immanuel Lashley (acting as Prime Minister of Brunai) and Ms. Narianne Persad (acting as Prime Minister of
Namibia) represented PIMBS Ltd. at Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held in Trinidad.
2010 Mr. Marc Nelson and Ms. Tracy Newling (acting as Parliamentary Representative for St. Anns East) represented in
the 9th National Youth Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago
2011 2nd Place in Trinidad and Tobago Private Secondary School Football 2K11 Fiesta
2013 Production Series – The Moral of the Story – play themed on issues affecting youth today.
2015 Production Series – A MidSummer’s Night Dream (Curepe Style) – a local adaption of the Shakespearian play.
2017 Nyleesa Nicome placed 7th in the Region in Environmental Science Unit 1 CAPE examinations.

SPORTS DAY
Sports Day is a biannual event that both students and staff look forward to, to "blow off some steam" just before exams. Activities include traditional track events, football and cricket along with novelty events such as Doubles eating competition, tug of war, balloon races and three legged races.
ASTROPHYSICS CLUB
Astrophysics is divided into two phases. In the first term we learn about the planets, constellations and various celestial bodies. In the second term we observe planets, nebulas and constellations. We also meet people of significance in Astrophysics including University lecturers and personnel from NASA.
CHESS CLUB
Chess can be seen being played almost every day by students and teachers. This game of Strategy helps to sharpen a student's mental and academic ability.
DRAMA AND ART
An avenue to develop self expression, Art and Drama finds its emphasis in the Lower Secondary School. Grand performances such as "A Midsummer Night's Dream (Curepe Style)" would involve members of cast from the entire school. To showcase their talents.
